Art Cards by Lynne - Biography

Lynne began her art work in 1954 when she and her friend Sara along with another classmate drew a picture of an angel; which was then displayed on the wall in front of the principal's office.

Lynne, the artist, married an Air Force cadet and moved with the military life for several years. While her husband pursued his career; Lynne developed her talent by taking lessons from accomplished artists as well as developing her own unique style.

Some of Lynne's community activities have included donating a Folk Art Painting to the Local chapter of NAWBO, The National Association of Women Business Owners. Her donation helped raise over $8,000.00 which will be used to support NAWBO's mission of propelling Women Entrepreneurs into economic and social spheres of power worldwide.

In 1986, Lynne received a letter of appreciation from the NM Secretary of State for her special concerns and service given to improve the quality of life for present and future generations of New Mexicans in "The Land of Enchantment."

September 18, 2003 - The First Edition, 10" x 13" Pink Bearded Iris First Print went for auction for a scholarship fund, sponsored by The American Marketing Association for Education for Marketers. The Second Print was sent to an Office in the White House, Washington, D.C.
